If you are utilizing an online pharmacy (Chewy, 1800 Pet Meds, Vetcove) that faxes us a prescription refill request, you do not need to fill out this form. Please allow 2 business days where the doctor is in the office (Tues-Fri) from receiving that request to process it and fax it back.

• Medications can be refilled from Tuesdays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Please allow 2 business days in this window for medications and written scripts to be picked up at Gold Coast. The doctor must have seen your pet in hospital in the past six months in order to authorize refills.
• Controlled substances (denoted with an asterisk*), can only be picked up Tuesday-Friday between the times of 8 am and 6 pm. Legally, we can only authorize a maximum of 30 days with appropriate refills. The medication will be filled at the time of pick-up to be compliant with controlled substance regulations. Please allow 5 minutes for the medication to be filled after arrival and notifying the client service representative what you have requested.
• Once your medication has been filled and is ready for pickup, you will receive notice at your preferred method — phone call, text message, or email.
• If you are requesting a written script mailed to you, please provide the team one week of notice from when you will run out of the medication to ensure there is no lapse in medication.
• Medications are only called into a pharmacy on an emergency basis, so please plan ahead. If you are going to run out of your pet’s medication within the next 24 hours, email us at behavior@goldcoastcvc.com. If we are not in the office during that time, we ask that you contact your primary care veterinarian for refills.
